Feeling the love.

August 18, 2007 By Marta Darby 3 Comments

So, I was feeling a little blue today.

P8178018_2Probably just tired.  The last few weeks have been so busy for us with celebrations and I probably just need some downtime.
And you know how it is when you start feeling down and you start feeling sorry for yourself?
So there I am having my very own Pity Party and thinking (or maybe I was praying, or maybe I was whining – it’s all a blur),  "Great Pity Party. Only thing missing is the cake."

And seriously, not 30 seconds later there is a knock on the door and I found this on our doorstep.

It was in this cool, foam, plastic wrapped container which looked like it was housing some sort of radioactive device.

Nope. Not radioactive.

CHOCOLATE!
On MY doorstep!
THANK YOU, GOD!

Devil’s Food Chocolate Cheesecake to be exact from Junior’s in New York.
The World’s Most Fabulous Cheesecake.

Delivered cold to my door.

It’s not the first time I’ve found  sweet stuff  found on our doorstep, but usually it comes inside of little pink boxes.)

So excited to try it!

Sorry about the Pity Party thing.
I just had a weak moment there.

Now I’m just feeling so grateful.
We truly have some amazing friends. (Thanks, Pam & Gene!)

And God has a great sense of humor. =D

Happy Belated Anniversary…and you can be the first to know…but we are not telling others…until there is an official doctor visit! #2 is on his/her way. That’s right….I was given a disk of pictures today of their trip to the coast and the first picture was of a pregnancy test that said “pregnant”. So I’m on the way to be a Grandma for a second time! Life is great! (CJ is taking a nap right now)
