I know what you’re thinking: Surely those Darbys have enough grandchildren by now.
But you would be wrong. I’m a Cuban grandmother, after all. (I know. Shut up.)
Today I’d like to introduce you to Miss Elizabeth Nicole Darby.
Born on August 1st, 2026 to Jon and Ariana. Weighing in at 7 lbs. 4 oz. of pure adorableness.
She’s already a treasured addition to the Darby Clan. And if you’re keeping score, the current tally is 4 boys and 2 girls. Making us the very proud grandparents of 6 beautiful and perfect children. Thankyouverymuch.
And, it goes without saying, we’re all ridiculously smitten with this girl.
She had a rocky first few days which she spent in the NICU, but after much prayer and wonderful care, she’s home and happy and growing and thriving, and, much to our utter delight, she’s generously gifting us with the very sweetest baby smiles. Be still my foolish heart. sigh
The cousins are completely ovewhelmed and delighted with this newest squirmy member of their elite group.
We’re so proud of Jon and Ariana for standing steadfast in their faith and believing God for His very best.
In this case, His very best happens to be Sweet Elizabeth.
We’re all grateful and happy and emotional and all the inadequate words that come when you’ve received such a precious gift from God.
You already know what I’m going to say next, but it bears repeating:
