As we wrap up Hispanic Heritage Month, let’s do it in great Cuban style with some cafecito. Who’s with me?

It seems to me that our Cuban culture is defined by a few things:
• The BEST food on the planet. (Believe it.)
• Music that reaches into your soul and causes you to dance. (You are helpless to resist. You know that.) Please refer to my Cuban Cooking Playlist. Thankyouverymuch.
• Our coffee. It’s like drinking a daily cup of pure life. (I’m not exaggerating at all. 😉)



So what better way to celebrate the finish of  Hispanic Heritage Month or My Big Fat Cuban Family’s 16 Years in the Blogosphere, than to give away a gorgeous basket of our delicious Cuban Coffee.

      1. Yo lo tomo 2 veces al día. Un taza de Café La Llave ante de ir a trabajar, la otra cuando llegó del trabajo. Me da energía para caminar a mi perita y empezar a cocinar la cena.

      Usually 2 and its made in an old school cafetera on the stove. The best tasting espresso hecho con amor y paciencia. No doubt I Love Cafe La Llave!! El sabor de nuestra gente!!

    Usually I only have “un buchito” when we have company or when we gather at friends ‘ homes for our wonderful gatherings and celebrations of Cubans and Puerto Rican friends.
    At my house it is made in my old wonderful Moka pot .

    I drink cafe all day! No me hablen until after my cafecito.
    I make it in an old school cafetera pero I drink café con leche. 🥰

    Hey Marta!
    I live for any kind of Coffee… pretty much ALL DAY!!
    I usually make my Coffee in a regular drip coffee maker (I have been known to use my French Press occasionally 😘)
    I love the smell of Coffee in the house… I ❤️ Cafe la Llave! ☕

    Café una vez en la mañana doble, si en la tarde me siento decaída me tomo otro pero lista para dormir tarde. Tengo dos cafeteras eléctrica una regular y otra nespresso

    Definitely every morning, and then I end up making more to share with my dad.

    We used to make it the old school way but we have been gifted a nespresso a few months back and our lives have been changed😂

    Definitely early in the morning and a couple of more times then after lunch and twice more.
    We make it in an espresso machine.
    I love cafe La Llave. The aroma when you open the package is delicious.

    We love Cafe la Llave, that’s the only cafe we drink at least 3 times a day.. The morning cafe con leche, the cafecito after la merienda o almuerzo and lastly el cafecito de por la noche after dinner. 😉 – We make it the old school way, en la cafetera on the stove con espumita. This would make an amazing gift for our parents though. After all, our traditions began with them. <3

    1)Omg! A true deaf cubana I was raised by mi abuela,Tia and mami to have Cuban cafe up to 3 times a day and have it ready for familia and guest when they visit.

    2) I’m old fashioned and make it in my red Moka pot ❤️

    3)I love Cafe La Llave.

    1- Yo lo tomo tres veces al día habitualmente. Pero si recibo visitas sumo otra y si me duele la cabeza, otra, y si estoy estresada otra, y si llamo a una amiga, otra!!!!
    2- Tengo todo tipo de cafeteras! Italiana! Cuisinart! Nespresso!
