Nothing better than a cup of regular cafe.
Anytime is a great time for a cup of cafecito, but my favorite time is after dinner.
If I would win this lovely basket of cafe I would keep it to share with mi esposo.

1. I only drink regular (really, is there any other option?l
2. Morning cafecito is the best (and I use La Llave in my coffee maker). But, every now and then, a little cup of Cuban Coffee after dinner is nice too to help with digestion and dessert (preferably, a refugiado).
3. I’ve trained my kids in my Cuban ways, so they like their cafesito too (on weekends). Who needs Starbucks when you have La Llave. And of course, I do get requests for espresso (using my Cubsn cafetera) from my non’Cuban friends. Our stuff is just too good!

1. I drink decaf, my daughter drinks regular.
2. I make regular cafecito for my daughter. She takes it to work in a thermos and drinks it throughout the day.
When she leaves, I make myself decaf and enjoy it nice and hot, sometimes I dip my bread in it.

It is obvious that growing up in a Cuban household, espresso is a “must”…I recall back in the 60’s and 70’s and living in the city of New York, there was not much of a variety of espresso. My mother would make Bustelo or Pilon and of course I had to have my espresso early in the morning and of course after dinner.
Ever since LA LLAVE came out in the market and I tried it, I got hooked! FROM THE MOMENT YOU OPEN THE CAN, THE AROMA IS PURE AND SPECTACULAR…I LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT MY SON HAS PURCHASED BOXES ON AMAZON AND SENT THEM TO ME…THERE IS NO OTHER COFFEE FOR ME!!!

I love cafecito and usually only drink it when I visit my mom in Orlando because I can’t make it as good as she does! If I win I would give it to my mother so I have a reason to go to Florida!

Yes, I drink both regular and decaf coffee depending on the time of day. I always look forward to that first cup of coffee in the morning and then in the afternoon for a quick pick me up. The aroma of coffee is like no other. Of course, this is meant to be shared with family and friends, especially when it’s Cafe La Llave! ❤️☕️❤️☕️

(2) 3pm. We all take a hard stop at the office to have our cafecito and talk about our day
(3) my parents (both Pedro Pan children) celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this week….I would reluctantly share it with them 🙂
Cafe La Llave is a standard for our family. It is an expression of tradition and pride in our culture. Drinking coffee needs no time… Only availability to sit and cherish life or to enjoy time with family. The basket would mean so very much… toasting to family we have lost and celebrating those that we still have time to love. Viva Cafe La Llave!

I would use it to try to get a son or two lured back home for Christmas. I miss them so much, so maybe the lure of Cubanisms will bring them back. La Llave was Mami’s favorite, so maybe those memories will spark something. Here’s hoping, anyway- no?
Ah, anyway- thank you so much for all that you do as well as your humor and recipes throughout the years- Between you and Jennie you guys always kept me going when Mami, and then Papi, died, and kids left. A little shot of Cuban soul…so bittersweet, but so warm and so good.

We usually drink regular but are not opposed to trying decaf?
Usually we like to have a cafecito in the morning with breakfast and a shot of cafecito after lunch, dinner or if company comes over for a visit.
I would definitely use the products, but would share it with my in-laws also because they LOVE Café la Llave. It’s their favorite brand of cafe and ours too.

What a wonderful gift! I drink regular in the morning and decaf later in the day so I’m able to sleep. My favorite time to have my cafecito is before my morning work out for a nice boost of energy. Of course if I win I would have to share with my best friend because we love a coffee and chat!

currently living in Tallahassee and can use a Cubanity boost to share with my Miami transplants and Tally friends who have not had the experience of Cafecito Break!
1. Regular, usually Cafe Bustello, but that’s cuz it’s easier to find where I live.
2. Prefer it as an afternoon pick me up.
3. I’ll be using it right away, but will also be sharing with my hubby & son.
I drink my cafecito first thing in the morning, and have a second around 2pm. I don’t bother with decaf! It doesn’t taste the same as my 7 year old self remembers, sipping the most luscious, sugary, yumminess from the little green and white Versailles espresso cup my Mom made me take out to my Dad. This gift is all for me!
