Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lovely family Marta. I have the Port Wine – Guava glaze for my 22 lb bird simmering on the stove (I got up waaayy too early), the stuffing slowly sauteeing on the stove. All is right with the world, and when my family and friends arrive later today, I will be thankful that I still have the love and strength that they give me every day.If I can figure out how to do it, I’d like to show you my Guava Turkey (only if it turns out ok, that is, lol).

The Guava Turkey was a huge success! After brining it overnight, I stuffed it (Mom’s recipe), and started basting away. Mine got awfully dark, but thanks to my handy dandy talking meat thermometer (I love Williams Sonoma!) it was cooked to perfection! Juicy, and the crisp skin was so yummy. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
