I don't seem to have a creative thought in my head these days.
I know. Sad for me. =(
I really need to do something to get that creative mojo back. (not to be confused with the Cuban garlic sauce you use to marinate meat, which sounds really tasty, but that's not important right now…)
So I have set up a regimen that looks something like this:
"Ah, summer, what power you have to make us suffer and like it." ~ Russell Baker
I never said it was going to be easy. 😉

I’m reading Isabel Allende’s new(ish) book. Someone tells her there is no such thing as writer’s block — just a well that has run dry and must be filled with new experiences. So it sounds like you’re doing the right thing!

PS Yes, it makes me gag every time she says, “The heroic Che.” Honestly. How can she find one tyrant (Pinochet) so despicable and be so in love with another?

c-f,I think I am doing the right thing by taking time to relax because I do feel like that dry well, the problem lies in giving myself grace for it.
Thanks.
Marta
(PS. She makes me crazy that way too. I don’t tend to pick and choose. I lump them all into a general “comunistas de mierda” pile. =D)
