I have been sharing with Pam since 1975.
We have shared meals, good and bad times, J.R.R. Tolkien and passions… in other words, we have shared LIFE. She & her husband, Gene, shared the gospel with me in 1979, which resulted in my life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
All this sharing has impacted both of our lives and it continues today.
All that to say this: Cuban care package on its way to you in Hanford, Pam! and yes, that is a Star Trek Communicator. =D

Look how wonderful you are! You always humored us about Star Trek. Now, we all have all the devices they used on that show. Even to the ear piece Spok would wear to communicate! I can’t wait to get my care package! I was going around the evil T.V. this weekend and stopped on the 30 minute meal gal. She was doing some great Cuban recipes. One was called Cuban Spiced Pork Tenderloin and Soffrito Rice. We didn’t have the time or energy to do the pork, but I will soon. But Gene went and bought a whole cooked chicken and the ingredients for the Soffrito rice. Boy was it wonderful…..with our secret packet of spices. I ate so much that I think I might have permanent damage! We loved it so much we had it again the next night! I plan on winning our church’s salsa contest this year with a Exotic Cuban Salsa recipe…but don’t want to give to much information….wouldn’t want anyone to scoop me!Thanks for being such a great friend!
