If you remember from this post a few weeks ago, you know that we are all suffering uber-nerdy anticipation for the release of The Avengers (the movie) in theaters on May 4th.
Read the comments on that post and you'll see reader Lourdes M's genius suggestion of watching all the Marvel super hero movies beforehand. We have been doing exactly that for the past few weeks.
Our movie line-up has been as follows:
- Week 1 – The Incredible Hulk
- Week 2 – Ironman
- Week 3 – Ironman 2
We are saving Captain America and Thor for next week.
And then….on May 4th…..
I can barely wait for the awesome.

Oooo – this one is so good!!! Ok- my favorite has to be Iron Man. Why? Well, aside from the flying suit, the super tools ‘n toys, the stupendous house which obeys his every voice command and the AWESOME science knowledge, he gets all the most delicious, snarky lines. I just love it!I don’t think I’d be able to be part of the Avengers – unless they felt a need for Super Jewish Mom Guilt… THAT I could do.
My favorite Avenger is Iron Man because I love how RDj plays him! I hope the movie is full of funny.:)

This is great. We have also decided to watch all the movies before going to see the Avengers. We will have to wait until mid-May because my husband works offshore and I think he would be devastated if I took the kids to go without him. I have a picture of him with my two children each dressed up in a different costume. My little family of superheroes. My favorite one would have to be Captain America. Mostly because he started off as a little scrawny man who could not take anyone on and then was transformed into awesomeness. If I could be one, I would be called The Voice, as my children seem to get my Cuban excited utterances confused with screaming. They always ask me why I am screaming and I always tell them, “this is how I normally talk.” When they go to my parents house, then they understand. LOL. Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite avanger is Thor, well, it’s kinda obvious…his handsome, strong and what a body!!! What more can a girl ask for?? If I was an avanger I would be called “Sabrosona” (like in the song Cachita), because of my cuban curves and love of salsa and everything cuban…..Thanks!

My all time favorite has got to be Captain America. I love how even though they bulked him up and made him all strong and indestructible, he is still the good man inside and fighting for what is right. He does what needs to be done for the best of others, even at his own expense. Plus, hes got one awesome frisbee/shield.And if I were an Avenger I would like to be called White Rose. Being as I like the color white and Rose is a beautiful flower, yet can defend itself very well if necessary.

I have to agree with Marta, Thor is the man! If I were an Avenger I’m not sure what I would want to be called, so maybe you should just call me question mark…

This is excellent. We have also determined to look at all the films before going to see the Avengers. We will have to delay until mid-May because my spouse performs international and I think he would be ruined if I took the kids to go without him.
