It's the third week in August.
We're supposed to be starting school next week. (I know!)
Did I mention that it's still AUGUST???
In fact, this coming Friday (which will still be in AUGUST, but that's not important right now), we're scheduled for 10th grade registration and picture taking and all of the accompanying busyness that marks the beginning of a new school year.
That's right. SCHOOL year.
10th grade and 7th grade.
Even though we homeschool, we still follow a classic academic year and yes, we are technically ready with everything from notebooks to pencils to computers.
My biggest problem right now is that I'm still wondering…..
What the heck happened to JULY???
Anyone….? Anyone….? Bueller….? Bueller….??

Ditto, Marta, you are so inspiring! Most of the time I feel I’m drawning between my full time (outside and far from the house) job, Nicolas, la casa… sight. I need to get moving and have some sort of calendar like that… maybe visualization would help to release the stress. But let me know if you find any support group for busy Moms :)Good luck with the new school year!

Forget July, this Summer we’ve had three weddings, two bridal showers, three baby showers and two small getaway trips. WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO!!!!!Marta, you are an incredible gifted woman!!!! I am so encouraged by you. Thank you for your creativity. I’m at a point where I’ve lost energy along the years to think up anything creative. And we homeschool as well. But thank God, we’re doing a Language Arts Co-op this year!!! This will give me more time to be creative on other subjects. School was suppose to start on Monday, but with the Tropical Storm Fay, it was cancelled until today. I’m not starting until Monday. ๐

Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone from CHEP but we are going on vacation this weekend and will totally miss the first official week of school. We are ready, though, but won’t really be starting until after labor day…vacation FIRST!!! I know so last of the summer but Robert had a case that needed to be prepared for trial so his summer was busy doing that…he was just able take off this week (today we are on our way to Knotts) and next week Wyoming and the Grand Tetons!
