I'll tell you the bad news first.
My camera died.
My beloved Olympus E-300 Evolt won't shoot anymore.
Yes, the one I use EVERY SINGLE DAY to document my extraordinarily ordinary life.
It was quite sudden, too.
It was working just fine.
And then it just stopped.
Just like that.
No more pictures for me, Precious. (She said, in a sad, pathetic little voice.) =(
I'm taking in in to the camera shop ASAP and I hope there's a fix for it.
Because I'm seriously feeling sad over this.
Like the death of an old and loyal friend.
Oh, but wait…there is good news.
This is the very last picture it took:
Like a final parting gift… *sigh*
(But, hey, how cute are we? And isn't the castle especially beautiful? =D)

Ohhh so sad.

No! Say it ain’t so!But hey, that’s one heck of a farewell gift! I love it when the Disney parks are decked out in their holiday best. It’s my favorite time of year in general, and my favorite time of year to go park hopping! =)
Ody from Miami Lakes says
You guys look great. It’s funny how the castle looks like there is snow on it and you guys are wearing t-shirts. Are you sure you’re not in Orlando?!!!!LOL!!!!! Okay, honestly, how many times a year do you go to Disney? Forget a year, how many times a month?!! 😉
Marta says
Amanda,I love all the Christmas decorations and everything is sparkly and magical.
Ody,
We go every other Wednesday. I know. Crazy!
Both kids have classes on that day, so we leave right afterward – around noon. It takes us about 20 minutes to get there and we usually meet my niece, Helen, and her kids.
By going so often, we can take our time and really enjoy the artistic delights the park has to offer. We always have lunch or dinner at the Cafe Orleans. I’ll have to post the recipe for their Monte Cristo sandwiches – they’re to die for!
Pam says
At least you have a camera shop!
class factotum says
I hope you guys are nowhere near the fires!
